The relay is a fundamental component for all safety applications that require the use of optoelectronic safety light curtains. Practically, each type 2 or type 4 safety light curtain installation requires a safety relay for the connection to the machine stopping circuits.
The SE-SR2 safety relay can be efficiently used either with type 2 safety light curtains, connecting one or both static outputs, or with type 4 safety light curtains connecting the two static outputs to the safety module, creating a complete type 4 safety system.
It is consequently important to use a safety relay able to guarantee excellent reliability, as well as presenting very compact dimensions and being cost-effective; all elements that characterise the new SE-SR2 relay.
